videos: Class Levels & Mysore Enhanced
Mysore Enhanced
is a unique program offered by Downward Dog Yoga Centre.
Developed by Ron Reid, it builds on the traditional Mysore approach first established by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore,
India by including a therapeutic component rarely found in other programs.
By adapting the practice to each individual's needs we feel there is a greater opportunity for pain-free practice.
Mysore Enhanced teachers are highly skilled and highly trained. Most are practicing at a third series level and many are also therapists,
including Shiatsu, massage, chiropractic and osteopathy. You will find precise, detailed information about mis-alignment that could
lead to injuries, in addition to the form of the series. This is why we call it Mysore Enhanced.
Our pledge to our students is that you will always be treated with kindness, respect and intelligence.
The Mysore program was first established at Downward Dog in 1997 and is the longest running program of its kind in Canada. Namaste.
