Kid's yoga camp will run at the same time as our afternoon classes, so you can enjoy a yoga class while your children have fun with Livia.
Get ready for the ultimate summer adventure with Kids Yoga Camp! Discover yoga through fun breathing exercises, yoga poses, partner yoga,
games, music, science experiments, eco-awareness activities, relaxation, and creative arts projects. Each camp day will explore a new theme,
building on understanding of yoga practices. Learn how to salute the sun, stand on your head, and more!To register for all sessions online,

In praise of the sun: A chanting workshop for healing

Come and celebrate the solar tradition that dates back to Vedic times. In this workshop we will celebrate the energy of Surya, the Sun,
who is considered not just in ancient India to be a source of energy, power, prosperity and radiance, but also in other ancient cultures.
Through specific mantra's, asana's (Sun Salutations), reflection and meditation we will fill our bodies and minds with the rays of the inner
sun to empower our healing abilities. For all levels of chantersÉplease wear clothes to move in, be comfortable in, and also feel free to
bring an MP3 player to record the chants.

Join us for FREE outdoor classes at Kew Gardens park this summer! Diane Bruni and Ron Reid will teach together for the July 19 class. This Ujjayi Pulse-style class is set to live drum accompaniment. Classes take place beside the boardwalk overlooking the water (not at the gazebo in the park).
Look for the covered pavilion at the foot of Lee Avenue. Please bring a mat, a wind-protected candle and a blanket. Class will run rain or shine!
Bring the kids! Alongside the regular Sunset Yoga classes, there will be a Kids Yoga class for ages 4-11 with instructor Livia Berius. Also free!

Eddie and Nicki will be leading a Teacher Training as well as open workshops. Teacher Training with Eddie and Nicki

Runner's Tune-Up: Big Stretch with Christine Felstead

You tune-up your car....now tune-up your body! As you aim to meet your race goals this summer and as the miles add up,
this class will give your body a much needed big stretch! This 2-hour stretch intensive will help relieve those nagging aches and pains from
your training and racing. You will leave feeling 'light' and a little more balanced. Muscles, joints and tendons that are often strained and subject
to overuse injury will be the focus of this workout. This is a good refresher for those that have taken Christine's Yoga for Runners workshop
series or for those new to yoga.

Hip Parade: A Hip Opening Workshop with David Gellineau

balanced series of poses that target the hips and create mobility and
stability in the entire pelvis. This workshop will lead the class
through a series of poses sequenced to target the pelvic region and
unlock the most stubborn hips.

Moving Meditation: A Led Primary Series with Full Vinyasa Workshop with David Gellineau
Sunday, October 12
Vinyasa is the coordinating of breath and movement. It is the essence
of Ashtanga Yoga and an exact science demonstrating the most graceful
aspects of the practice, the ability to move effortlessly. Returning
to standing, Samasthiti pose, between postures, is a practice referred
to as "Full Vinyasa". In this 3-hour workshop, students will be guided through the Primary
Series practicing Full Vinyasas, experiencing the fluidity of the
breath, invigorating the body and mind through each asana and movement.

Evolution: Intro to the Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with David Gellineau
Sat + Sun, November 22 - 23
Nadi Shodhana is the traditional name for the Intermediate or Second
Series of Ashtanga Yoga. It refers to the results of the practice,
the purification and strengthening of the nervous system and the
energy channels or nadis. In this 2-day intensive, the series will be
explained and the foundational postures and their co-ordinating
vinyasas will be introduced. Students will have an opportunity to ask
questions and look at key actions that develop the strength and
alignment for the postures, allowing the practice to deepen and evolve
into a flowing manner.
Time: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm each day
